We are proud to announce there will be another year of Sistema Orchestra Shaker or SOS here at Lomond School. Thanks to the help of Ms. Freeman and Shaker Schools Foundation, Lomond students in second, third and fourth grades will have the opportunity to study the violin after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 beginning in October. We will meet in the auditorium, and for children who normally take the bus home, late busses will be available after the class.
To apply to become a part of Sistema, please fill out and return the attached information sheet to your classroom teacher by Friday, September 15th. Our instrument supply is limited, so admission will be granted via a random lottery system based on first come first serve. We will review applications and let you know as soon as possible if your child will be able to participate.
