10 a.m.: Celebration of Student-Athletes
Ribbon Cutting at the new Raider Hall in the North Gym Lobby, Shaker Heights High School
The lobby is being transformed into a celebration of student-athletes from the 1930s to today. We are unveiling a new photo mural that celebrates athletic excellence – you’ll want to come and see who you recognize! Also, many individual and team awards will be on display, including awards from state and conference championships.
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Raider Nation Pre-Game Festival
High School Oval between the tennis courts and the football field
A community event for the whole family. Celebrate with a ride on the Rocket Car, a bounce house, music and many kid-friendly activities. High Schools clubs and sports teams will be there too.
1 p.m.: Homecoming Football Game vs. Solon
Russell H. Rupp Stadium
Root for the Raider football team against Solon in the iconic Russell H. Rupp Stadium and enjoy the Shaker Band, cheerleaders and Raiderettes. Tickets can be purchased at the gate beginning at 11:30 am on game day.
