March 20, 2019—The Shaker Heights High School IB Art Exhibition opens Thursday, March 21 in the High School Egress. The exhibition provides an assessment platform for students to showcase the final product of the culmination of their art-making processes from the last two years. Through this practice, students demonstrate their discernment in determining the strongest works for exhibition and how to best arrange these works. Students have composed an artist statement to offer connections between their work and the viewers.
Exhibition guests can meet the student artists and view their works at the opening reception on Thursday, March 21 from 3-4 p.m. The show will be on display through March 28 in the Egress.
