January 23, 2019—The Shaker Heights High School Bands will perform a special concert at Severance Hall this Sunday, January 27 at 7 p.m.  Shaker is one of only four bands to be invited to perform as part of the Northeast Ohio Band Invitational. Both the Shaker Heights Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will perform. This is a great honor for our Shaker students, as Severance Hall is one of the finest concert halls in the country.  

Here is the full schedule of bands for the day:

2 p.m. - Willoughby South High School
3 p.m. - Chardon High School
4 p.m. - Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony Group II Concert Winds
5 p.m. - Lakeland Civic Band
6 p.m. - Orange High School
7 p.m. - Shaker Heights High School

 

General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Shaker Heights High School from the band directors. Tickets are valid for any or all of the performing groups.  There is a fee of $11 for parking in the Severance Hall garage.
