A Message from the Interim Superintendent

Dear High School Community and Staff,

As we approach the winter break, I want to provide you with an update on our High School principalship.

First, I want to acknowledge the work that Dr. David Glasner has done as Substitute Principal. The administration continues to review Mr. Kuehnle’s situation and expects to reach a resolution very soon. Dr. Glasner will continue as Substitute Principal during this review period.

Additionally, I want to thank the faculty and staff for their steadfast patience and professionalism during this period. It has been a difficult time for all of us and I acknowledge that this makes our jobs even more difficult than usual. Even with these challenges our High School team continues effective classroom teaching and learning; superior arts, athletics and academic activities; effective and efficient school operations; as well as short- and long-range semester planning.

I appreciate the hard work by our faculty and staff and their support for each other and our students. Our staff is what makes Shaker a special educational environment.

I wish everyone a restful and joyous winter break with family and friends. Please be safe in your travels and enjoy time with your family.
