Each year, the District hosts a Service Tea to honor colleagues from around the District who will be retiring, receiving service awards or SHTA Fellowships. The Service Tea this year takes place on Wednesday, May 22.
Congratulations to the following teachers and staff members who will be recognized for 25 years of service: Susan Brown, Angela Goodrum, Christopher Hayward, Todd Keitlen, Brenda Kline, Vikki Long, Michael McDonough, Athea McDowell, Larry Miller, Heather Pincoe, Kimberly Ponce de Leon, Deedra Strang, Debra Turoff, and Patricia Lease.
Fifteen year awards will be presented to: Erick Anderson, Claude Green, Gretchen Hess, Yvonne Horstman, Miata Hunter, Paula Klausner, Terrell McKenney, Michael Olencki, Holly Palda, Mark Seymore, Stephen Smith, David Watson, Linda Watson, Derek White, and Helen (Eileen) Willis.
The following retirees will be recognized for their years of service: Carol Boyd, Elizabeth Siegel, Renautta Griffin, Mary Beth Eakin, Charles Orange and Seretta Wilson.
