Fernway Student's Artwork on Display at State Office Tower

student art by akira falconerFebruary 11, 2019—Congratulations to Fernway third-grader Akira Falconer, whose artwork (pictured here) was selected for exhibition at the 39th Annual Young People’s Art Exhibition, sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association. This year’s show includes 130 student artworks from around the state. Akira will be recognized at a ceremony on March 2 in Columbus and her art will be on display from February 16 to March 23 at the Rhodes State Office Tower in downtown Columbus. Akira’s art teacher is Wendy McGuffin-Cawley.
 
"Outstanding work, Akira! We're proud that your art was chosen to be a part of the exhibition," said Interim Superintendent Stephen M. Wilkins.
