SHHS Senior Clap Out is May 31

May 25, 2018—Shaker Heights High School seniors will return to their respective Shaker Heights K-4 elementary schools on Thursday, May 31 for Senior Clap Out, an event organized by Shaker Schools PTO. Senior Clap Out is modeled after Shaker’s long-standing tradition of “clapping out” students who move on to other Shaker schools at the end of their fourth- and sixth-grade years. The entire student body and staff at each of Shaker’s five elementary schools—Boulevard, Fernway, Lomond, Mercer and Onaway—will applaud these seniors as they walk the halls or collect in the school gym.

Shaker seniors will leave Shaker Heights High School, 15911 Aldersyde Drive, by bus promptly at 1 pm and head to their elementary schools as a group. They will arrive by 1:15 pm, walk through the school for Senior Clap Out and then return to the High School by 2:15 pm.
