Want to receive emergency notifications from the School District? Please text JOIN to 56360 from any mobile phone currently registered with your student's record.
In addition, please watch your email for an invitation to login to our SchoolConnects Automated Notification Parent Portal. The Parent Portal gives parents/guardians the ability to update your contact information specifically for automated calls and text messages from Shaker Heights Schools. You must receive an email invitation before attempting to log into the portal.
If your mobile phone is not currently registered with the District, you may add it through this portal in addition to adding any student mobile numbers you wish to receive automated communications. Once added, just text JOIN to 56360!
Automated phone calls for attendance (at the middle and high school), announcements and emergencies will continue. Text messaging will be reserved for emergency communications from the District office only.
Please be aware that standard text messaging rates apply, depending on your phone plan. Students under 18 year old should be included only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
