March 15, 2018—The Shaker Heights High School Bands competed at the Ohio Music Educators Association (OMEA) Large Group adjudicated event last Saturday, March 10. All five bands received excellent or superior ratings, with the Wind Ensemble and Concert Ensemble both receiving a top rating of 1 from the Judges. Our bands performed in the following classes: Wind Ensemble (AA), Symphonic Band (A), Concert Band (B), Concert Ensemble (B) and Concert Winds (B).
These students have worked hard and improved as students and musicians, which is the main goal of Contest. Congratulations to all the Shaker Bands!
