8 HS Students Awarded On National Mythology Exam

Eight of the 13 Shaker Heights High School students who took the 2016-2017 Medusa Mythology Exam earned recognition. 

Senior Sam Katz earned a Gold Medal for the third year in a row. Corona Laurea (Laurel Crown) winners are seniors Rachel Brunot and Rose McCandless. Corona Olivae (Olive Crown) winners are juniors Gautam Apte, Jacob Good, Gabriel Sekeres, Jocelyn Ting and freshman Matthew Schiavone.

The Medusa Mythology Exam is an international, standardized exam for students who are enthusiastic about mythology. This year's exam theme was "The Rise and Fall Of the Titans."
