THE MERCER OLYMPICS are here and
will take place from October 14-24, 2016! Support Mercer school through our only fundraising
effort all year! The Olympics build excitement, school spirit and
camaraderie through exercise in Physical Education, recess, and work in the classroom throughout the week. Students can
ask friends, family or neighbors to donate flat dollar amounts. One hundred percent of the money collected
goes directly to fund Mercer’s PTO activities. Money collected in past years has been used to
fund or purchase:
- a Meerkat mascot costume
- technology used for assemblies and presentations
- the school play
- the Library tree house
- Mercer Times
- teacher grants
- out of District field trips
- Chelton Park picnic
- Meerkat Club
- ... and MUCH MORE!
The class that raises the most money by noon on Monday, October 24 will receive a bonus P.E. class or a pizza dance party! In the past six years our Olympics campaign has raised over $80,000 for Mercer School!

Donations sent to school should be in a sealed envelope with the student’s full name, teacher and grade. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
