Seventy-four teachers, administrators and support staff members were honored Thursday during the annual District Recognition Reception at the High School. The honorees included 16 District employees who will be retiring June 30. Seven employees were honored for 25 years of service, and 36 were honored for 15 years of service. Fourteen newly tenured teachers were also honored, as well as a new Educator Emeritus, Stephanie Eagleton. “We commend you for your hard work, and thank you for your service,” Dr. Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr., Superintendent of Schools, told the honorees.
