Dateline: August 13, 2015 - Effective August 24, 2015, the traffic pattern on Woodbury Road changed to a northbound, one-way direction during the hours of 8-9:30 am and 2:30-4 pm, Monday-Friday, during the school year.
The purpose of this change is to improve the traffic safety around the Woodbury and Onaway schools during student drop-off and pick-up hours. Announcement of this change includes this posting on the City and School District websites; and the delivery of an informational flyer to the residents of Woodbury and Huntington roads.
The Shaker Heights Police Department will be in the area during the start of school to inform drivers of the traffic pattern change. A community information briefing about this change will take place on August 20 at 7-8 pm at the Onaway Elementary School.
