Ryan Beaumont, M.Ed., has been named Assistant Principal of Shaker Heights Middle School. He succeeds Assistant Principal Robert Rea, who has served in the position for the past three years.

Beaumont spent the past 10 years as an educator in Anne Arundel County Public Schools (Md.), where he most recently worked as an assistant principal at Crofton Middle School which serves more than 1,100 students and 90 faculty and staff. During his career, he has taught high school science and served as the middle school science department chair.

Beaumont earned a B.S. in Adolescent Young Adult Integrated Science Education from Ohio University and a M.Ed. in School Improvement Leadership from Goucher College.
