Transition Process in Place for Jonathan Kuehnle

Jonathan G. Kuehnle, selected in March to become the High School’s next principal, met Friday, April 29, 2016, with his Pre-Entry Advisory Team. The meeting begins a process designed to ensure a smooth transition when Mr. Kuehnle assumes his new position July 1.

On selected days over the next two months, Mr. Kuehnle will meet with his Pre-Entry Team as well as administrators, teachers, students, parents and community leaders. He will meet with the Human Resources Department, be briefed about his budget and take in community and school events. The Pre-Entry Team, which is coordinated by Dr. Terri L. Breeden, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, includes representatives from the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee, parents, the Shaker Heights Teachers Association, Faculty Senate, Safety and Security, custodians, counselors, support staff, assistant principals, community members and the Board of Education.

Once on the job, Mr. Kuehnle will appoint an entry team to assist him with his first few months at the High School.
