The Mercer Olympics is Mercer Elementary School’s ONLY fundraiser and runs from October 20 - 27, 2017. Donations are 100% tax deductible and ALL of the money collected by our students benefits Mercer Elementary School.
Since its inception in 2010, the Mercer Olympics fundraiser has raised more than $100,000 for our school. Through these generous donations, our school has been able fund ALL PTO events, educational enrichment activities, and much more.
The Olympics theme builds school spirit and camaraderie, while emphasizing physical fitness, teamwork, and friendly competition. During the week, students participate in Olympic-styled activities during Physical Education periods and recess and Olympic themed discussions and activities in the classroom.
Families are invited to join us for:
• the Opening Ceremony on Friday, October 20 at 9:45 a.m. in the Mercer Gym
• the Closing Ceremony on Friday, October 27 at 2:15 p.m. in the Mercer Gym (Principal Florence will announce the results and all students will be recognized for their hard work.)
How it works
Students simply ask family, friends and neighbors to donate whatever amount they choose to benefit Mercer Elementary School.
Simply complete the Donation Form here and return it with the collected donations in cash or check form (payable to “Mercer PTO”) in a sealed envelope with the student’s name between Monday, October 23 and 12:00 pm on Friday, October 27.

Please have the student's class teacher name ready so that credit is given to the student for whom you are donating.
