First Federal Lakewood Makes $500 Donation

As part of a new initiative underway this school year, the Garfield Heights City Schools is proud to announce First Federal Lakewood, Garfield Heights branch, as one of the inaugural Bulldog Business Partners for the 2012-2013 school year. Represented by Branch Manager, Nikki Clinard, First Federal Lakewood has made a generous $500 donation and has partnered with Maple Leaf Intermediate School, to help landscape their courtyard. Ms. Clinard presented a check to Superintendent Terry Olszewski and Maple Leaf principal, Jody Saxton, this past Friday, September 28, 2012, immediately prior to the varsity home football game.

“We are grateful for First Federal Lakewood, for their generous contribution,” said Superintendent Terry Olszewski. “This is another way that the schools intend to create meaningful partnerships within the community.”

Partnering businesses, who make financial contributions or who donate their time, are officially recognized by the district through their communications efforts.
