The entire varsity field hockey team (15 sophomores through seniors) earn All Ohio Academic honors (GPA 3.5 and above) among other awards announced at the team potluck November 24th.  Freshmen (of which the varsity has 3) are not eligible.  These 15 players earning academic honors are sophomores - Colleen Bradley, Kylie Boyle, Abby Connell, and Jessica Morford; juniors - Lily Abrams, Audrey Anderle, Kasidy Anderson, Marcia Brown, Olivia Hamilton, Juliana Pollock, and Adriana Ponce De Leon; and seniors - Bridget Cook, Hannah Harris, Mia Wang, and Lizzie Weingart.

The varsity team finished the season with a record of 17-2; and were 12-0 and district champions in the Northeast Ohio District.  Earning distinction for play within the district are 1st team:  Kasidy Anderson and Mia Wang
2nd team:  Jessica Morford and Juliana Pollock
Honorable Mention:  Megan Mitchell and Lizzie Weingart.

Junior Kasidy Anderson made the All Ohio team for the second year in a row.

Most Improved Offensive Player -- Marcia Brown
Most  Outstanding Defensive Player -- Mia Wang
Most Outstanding Offensive Player -- Olivia Hamilton
MVP -- Kasidy Anderson

For the academic year 2012-2013, two then juniors on the varsity field hockey team earned National All Academic Honors -- Mia Wang and Lizzie Weingart.  Congratulations!
