January 13, 2006 - Approximately 12 percent of the members of the Class of 2006 have already been admitted to their colleges of choice. The schools at which Shaker seniors have been accepted include DePaul, Duke, Emory, Georgetown, Hamilton, Harvard, Indiana, Kansas, Miami, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio University, Princeton, Rochester, Skidmore, Stanford, Syracuse, Tulane, University of Pennsylvania, University of Vermont, University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington University, and Yale, among others. Nationally, this is considered an exceptionally competitive year for admission to the most selective colleges and universities.
