One hundred thirty-five Latin students from Shaker Heights High School and Shaker Heights Middle School received recognition for their outstanding performance on this year's National Latin Exam with students Aaron Fallon, Anthony Lanese, Hannah T'Kindt and Carter Wang of the High School and Abigail Pink and Cyrus Taylor of the Middle School receiving perfect scores.  

High School students who earned Gold-Summa Cum Laude were Eric Brakey, Julia Buchheim, Laura Falender, Aaron Fallon, Katy Fishman, William Gibson, Stephanie Goldfarb, Morgan Grossman-McKee, Daniel Kanter, Michael Kaufman, Natalie King, Anthony Lanese, Zachary Lerner, Adam Margolius, Jason Plautz, David Pretzer, Emily Rosenberg, Adam Shands, Annie Sivertson, Chris Smith, Alaina Sullivan, Jonathan Strassfeld, Carolyn Stange, Hannah T'Kindt, Meghan Thompson, Alex Wang, Carter Wang, and Mary Winkelman.

High School students who earned Silver Medal – Maxima Cum Laude were Anderson Albano, Sarah Bell, Nicole Feeling, William Feldman, Ken Glenn, Rebecca Heide, Everett Hoffman, Matthew Koletsky, Emma Lawrence, Ann Lesnefsky, Clare Malone, Kevin McDonald, Ryan McDonough, Alex Mok, Miriam Moore, William O'Connor, Jeremy Polster, Devaughn Reid, Ryan Schork, Liz Shinkle, Ashali Singham, Julia Sivertson, Katherine Sommers, Sara Sy, Shanna Thompson, Carolyn Troha, Jason Uth, Jing Wang, Anna Weinstein, and Robert Williams.

Students receiving Magna Cum Laude were Daniel Barach, Alex Buchheim, Sidi Gueye, Tessa Heller, Andrew Kulinski, Jenny Kutik, Lauren Kutik, Kaitlin Laux, Nora Leahy, Claudia Lerner, Philip Marcotty, Margaret McGrew, Sean Murphy, Colin Murphy, Catherine Powell, Carrie Reese, Jessica Schiller, Avery Sears, Sara Smith, Marc Weiss and Connor Willis.

Students receiving Cum Laude were Cory Dalton, Andre Dev, Betty Elee, Julia Ferguson, Sara Fuller, David Goldsmith, Mike Greksa, John Gustafson, Michael Karim, Ann Kelly, Josh Kramer, Elyse Krumholz, Kathleen McGill, Helen Morgenstern, David Morrical, Lauren Saks, Ellen Super, Thomas Wilson and Robby Woodcock. Their Latin teachers are Jane Ulrich and Robert White.

At the Middle School, Summa Cum Laude honors went to Aaron Dunn, Nate Langhinrichs, Alex Grossman-McKee, Christopher Mawhorter, Margaret O'Halloran, Abigail Pink, Susanna Pretzer, Max Rothman, Katherine Ryan, Daniel Strassfeld, Alexandra Tallman, Cyrus Taylor, Michael Triozzi, and Patrick White. Maxima Cum Laude (Silver Medal): Danielle Arndt, Brianna Blackwood-Mallory, Christopher Durbin, Sier Nie, Scott Rownd, Peter Schiraldi, Emily Sullivan, and Robert Sweeney. Magna Cum Laude: Robert Abrams, LeTonia Hardin, Ben Heide, Sam Keane, Allison Paetz, Donny Petarra, Adam Sauerland, Daniel Shinkle, Sam Weir, and Greg Woyczynski. Cum Laude: Greta Cawley, Sarah Edgerton, Claire Gustafson, Cam Helffrich, and Sam Miller. Their Latin teacher is Jane Troha.
