Shaker Theatre Presents 'Twelfth Night' December 1-3dress rehearsal photo

The Shaker Heights High School Theatre Arts Department’s production of Shakespeare’s comedy TWELFTH NIGHT opens on Thursday, December 1, for three performances only.  

Directed by Theatre Arts Department Chair Christine McBurney, with Production Assistance by Erik Johnson, Technical Direction, Set & Lighting Design by Chuck Tisdale, Costume Design by Kelly Myers, and Stage Managed by Joel Rathbone, the production features over 70 student performers, producers, and technicians in roles ranging from carpentry to stage management to fundraising. Other adults include longtime department collaborator, Movement Specialist Wendy Lynne, Composer Bruce Jennings, and Music Consultation by Ross W. Duffin, director of the graduate program in early music at Case and author of Shakespeare’s Songbook.  

Named a center of excellence by the National Council of Teachers of English, Shaker Theatre includes 11 daily classes and a season offering consisting of four mainstage productions and seven showcase offerings.  

Performances for TWELFTH NIGHT run December 1, 2, and 3 at the Shaker Heights High School Large Auditorium, 15911 Aldersyde Drive in Shaker Heights. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and senior adults.
