January 6, 2005 -- Forty-one members of the Shaker Class of 2005 have already been admitted to their first-choice colleges under early-decision or early-action programs.

Schools at which Shaker seniors have been accepted so far include Boston College, Brigham Young University, Brown, Bryn Mawr, Colby, College of Charleston, Colorado College, Columbia, Dartmouth, Elon, George Washington, Georgetown, Hiram, Miami University (OH), Northwestern, Princeton, Rochester Institute of Technology, Salve Regina, Skidmore, Stanford, University of Michigan, University of Notre Dame, University of Pennsylvania, University of Rochester, University of Virginia, William and Mary, and Yale.
