Woodbury Wins Third Consecutive Science Olympiad Title

Woodbury's Science Olympiad team beat out 20 other schools from across Northeast Ohio to win the first-place title for the third year in a row. The team members competed in 24 science-related events, earning medals in 18 individual events, including eight first-place medals.

Team members are Colin Kempton, Sameer Apte, Narayan Sundararajan, Noah Pollack, Emma Kagan, Isabel Kalafatis, Nathan Christman, Jonny Goldenberg, Ben Robertson, Christina Savvides, Peter O'Neill, Leo Izen, Danny McCallum, Anna Hundert, Gray Flint-Vrettos, Zoe Economos, Colin Yule, Shree Hariprasad, Crystal Kong, Evan Seballos, Jeremy McMillan, Grace Li, Sam Gao, Conor Matthews, and Sam Stager.

The team was coached by faculty members Amy Brodsky,Carol Hochman, James Carter, Cyndy Steiner, and Candace Sheffler, with special help from Kathy Brewster, Gene Zajac, Bruce Yule, Sandy and Raul Seballos, Suneel Apte, Debby Goldenberg, Judi White, and many other dedicated parents.
