Community Invited to Middle School's Black History Month Celebration |

What: Africa and Beyond: A Celebration of Black History! When: Saturday, February 24, 2007 Where: Shaker Heights Middle School Auditorium (located at 20600 Shaker Blvd.) Time: 2-4 p.m Cost: Free (children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Hosted by: Shaker Middle School Scholars The program will highlight the history and achievements of African Americans and their ancestors, and its impact on the way we live today. The program will feature Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones, The Ecumenical Disciples Choir (in the style of the Fisk Jubilee singers), The Shaker Heights Middle School Gospel Choir, dance, drama, poetry, and much, much more!
