Main Stage Season
Much Ado About Nothing
2 - Dancers / Lovers - Salsa

December 3,4,5 2009 -

Beginning with our 2005 production of Twelfth Night, a goal was set to produce a Shakespeare play every four years so that every student would have the opportunity to study, produce, and view the Bard’s works.

This year, a company of 65 students and adults is coming together to create Much Ado, one of Shakespeare’s most musical of comedies. We’ve taken 16th century Spanish-occupied Sicily and reimagined it as 1950s Havana, Cuba. You will surely be taken by its singing and salsa dancing lovers, villains, and clowns, not to mention the lights and set, the costumes, the players, and by the unseen hands that pull it all together and keep it running.
