A new year, new lunch choices. The Shaker schools have contracted with AVI Food Systems to provide meals at all our schools – including, for the first time ever, hot lunches for students in kindergarten through grade 4. AVI has a solid track record in school food service, working with several nearby districts and colleges, as well as managing the Shaker Heights High School cafeteria since January 2009. We believe that this partnership will enable us to provide meals that are nutritious and appealing.
