On March 10, 2020, the Shaker Heights Board of Education adopted the
2020-2025 Strategic Plan. The plan was built on the foundation of two bedrock principles:
Before approving the plan, the Board received input from a variety of stakeholders including the Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Committee, District and building-level administrators, the Educational Equity Implementation Advisory Team, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, PTO officers, the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee, the Superintendent’s Black Teacher Task Force and school-level leadership teams.
The Board believes this plan sets a strong direction that will inform District priorities and positively impact student learning for years to come.
