Looking for Sponsors for SHHS Senior Projects
The Shaker Heights High School Senior Projects begin May 10- June 3, 2010. The Senior Project program gives seniors an opportunity to work with a sponsor in a career setting that interests them. The SHHS PTO is working with SHHS faculty to expand the list of potential sponsors in various professions. The student is required to have 100 project hours with the month though study hours for AP tests will also count toward that number. The sponsor does not need to see the student every day. The student can be assigned a project or other goals. Students are interested in many careers including business, medicine, engineering, law, accounting, fashion, automotive and many others. The Senior Project information is available here. The Sponsor Packet lists sponsor expectations in detail.
If you have questions or you are able to host a senior student this year, please contact Jenny Kidd, Senior Project co-Liasson, or emai lSenior Projects at Shaker Heights.
