Why did the District hire a search firm and appoint a project manager?
The District has hired Finding Leaders
, a search firm based in Cuyahoga County. The firm has provided search services for many school districts across the state and was hired by Shaker Heights Schools for its expertise. Finding Leaders will work with the District’s Director of Professional Learning Dr. Erin Herbruck, who also has taken on the role of Project Manager on this search. Dr. Herbruck will ensure that the consultants meet Shaker standards and expectations in terms of recruiting and vetting a diverse candidate pool.
