For nearly a century, Fernway Elementary School has provided generations of families and children with an engaging place to learn, a safe space to play and a welcoming lawn that’s perfect for lingering with friends on warm, sunny days.
The fire that ravaged the school’s rooftop on July 10, 2018 was a setback for sure.
Even before the flames were fully extinguished, Fernway families and teachers, community members, and District officials were planning next steps.
